Have you ever stopped to notice...

Boy, when someone says, "Take care of myself." I don't think they realize what we are all told to do to do that.let me just list the things our parents taught us. Brush your teeth daily (dentist say twice a day), change your underwear daily, take a shower, blow your nose and don't suck it back it, wipe your feet, wash your hands after you go to the bathroom and before meals, comb your hair, take your vitamins daily or meds as prescribed, don't burb or fart in public, cover your mouth when you sneeze and cough, eat all your vegetables, and carry a clean handkerchief at all times. I am sure there maybe more. Then there are the things the EXPERTS tell you to do. Go to the dentist annually, get a physical exam annually, go to church on Sunday (whatever day you may worship), sweep your carpets at least once a week, don't throw trash as your drive, drive responsibility and obey the traffic laws, respect your elders (especially your parents), change the batteries in your smoke detectors annually, never play around with poisonous creatures, watch your budget so your don't go into debt, change the oil in your vehicles every 5,000 miles unless you drive on dirt then do it more often. OK, THAT'S ENOUGH!! You get my drift, right? There is a lot of STUFF to taking care of yourself and (yes) others too. Most of this comes as second nature to you, but the TV and radio and newspaper give us reminders daily. Living ain't easy, as one of my friend says. But it is probably better than the alternative. So TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. Love you all.
